The Low of an Infinite Afternoon
The Low of an Infinite Afternoon
2021
36" x 21"
Limited edition of 35
I fell so in love with one of my paintings from my 2020 collection that I just had to create a screen print with the imagery. I found myself more connected than ever to this California landscape in the last couple years through art work. This is the state I have called home my whole life. My trips over the past few years to Point Reyes in particular are what inspired the imagery in this latest print and I keep wanting to go back to experience the park and of course take more photographs to bring back to the studio.
This print is one of my extra large sized pieces which makes if that much more technically difficult to execute. I loved every layer though! It will frame out nicely to about 42” x 26”. The piece is composed of 25 separate layers of silk screening with acrylic screen inks on archival paper. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom and sold unframed, presented with finished edges.
You can see this print being created in one of my process videos straight from the studio!
