This piece is a moment pieced from a couple of walks taken in the bright season of spring in Northern California. I see the poppies blooming, oaks and vines just leafing out, and the grassy hills still mostly green. Then the red wing blackbirds singing and displaying their bright patches just highlight all the changes in the season.

The piece is composed of 12 separate layers of silk screening with acrylic screen inks on archival paper. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, sold unframed, and presented with finished edges.
