Wetland ecosystems are all teeming with wildlife, and the birds in particular are always abundant. The wetland spaces in my home of the San Francisco Bay Area are no exception. This new piece features a park at the edge of the Petaluma river and within sight of Mt Tam, that I visit often for walking and birdwatching. It is right near the 101 but most of time there I feel like I am a world away.

The piece is composed of 21 separate layers of silk screening with acrylic screen inks on archival paper. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, sold unframed, and presented with finished edges. When framed and matted it might measure approximately 42” x 28”.
