I was first inspired to do a piece depicting a winding river from above while on a plane ride, but a hike in the hills above the mouth of the Russian River was the place to capture the imagery for it. The wildflowers were in bloom as well, and we all gazed out with bursting hearts at the vast Pacific Ocean.

This is a one of a kind painting, layering screen printing and hand painting. Screen printing and acrylic on cotton. This piece is signed and presented on a wood panel, ready to hang.
