The inspiration for this bird portrait comes from a couple of Great Horned Owls that have nested the last few years above a local trail that I frequent. On some of the best days in the spring I have see the babies poking their head out of the nest and also the parents perched on a branches close by keeping an eye on them.

This is a one of a kind painting, layering screen printing and hand painting. Screen printing and acrylic on fabric and wood panel. The piece is signed and presented on a wood panel, wired ready to hang.
